The SEOPW CRA successfully completed construction on the Twin Homes, marking the very first new-construction homeownership project built on land specifically conveyed to the agency. This development consists of two modern, two-story single-family homes, each featuring 2,000 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The project was built with a construction investment of $750,000 and incorporates high-quality resiliency features, including impact-resistant windows and doors, exterior covered porches, and dedicated covered parking.

This project is a primary pillar of the SEOPW CRA homeownership initiative, which aims to transform Overtown from a primarily multi-family rental community into one that offers stable, long-term equity for residents. By providing high-quality, newly constructed homes to low and moderate-income families, the project actively combats displacement and helps residents build generational wealth.
