The SEOPW CRA authorized an amendment to the 2016 Interlocal Agency Agreement with the City of Miami and the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) for the Tri-Rail Downtown Miami Link Project. This initiative extended Tri-Rail commuter service to downtown Miami, improving connectivity between the SEOPW CRA redevelopment area, downtown, and other South Florida urban centers. As a part of the partnership, The SEOPW CRA registers qualified residents within the redevelopment boundaries for free ridership, expanding their mobility.

The SEOPW CRA contributed $17.5 million to support project construction, furthering regional transportation and economic development. This collaboration reflects SEOPW CRA’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure, expanding mobility, and fostering growth in Miami.
