Sir John Guest House

The SEOPW CRA Board of Commissioners approved $950,000 in grant funding for the comprehensive renovation of the Sir John Guest House, a two-story residential building. This full-gut rehabilitation project is designed to transform the existing structure into a modern, all-inclusive housing facility. The scope of work includes extensive interior and exterior improvements to the 23 single rooms and five shared bathrooms, ensuring the building meets the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. By providing a flat-rate rent model that includes all utilities, the project offers a simplified and predictable housing solution for low-income residents in the heart of the community.
